This 1983 photograph shows the living quarters for the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) workers, located at Jurong Crescent. On 1 Oct 1994, SBC was dissolved to make way for Singapore International Media (SIM), a fully privatised entity that led to Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) taking over the television broadcasting role of SBC.
