This is a 1991 photograph showing a panoramic view of a village at the corner of Jalan Gemala, near Old Lim Chu Kang Road. This remote area overlooking Selat Johor was once a farming area, where the Lim clan of immigrants, also known as Kang Chus, cultivated the land for plantation. Title devised by Library staff.
