This is a 1990 photograph showing a row of (now-demolished) two-storey shophouses at Ophir Road, between North Bridge Road and Beach Road. Laundry poles with clothes hung out to dry are seen from several shophouse windows. The overhead bridge connected to the Golden Landmark Shopping Complex can also be seen in the background. Ophir Road was named after Mount Ophir in Muar, Johor. Title devised by Library staff.
