This 1984 photograph depicts the main entrance to the former French Embassy, also known as Atbara House, at Gallop Road. Today, the French Embassy is located at Cluny Park Road. Gallop Road was a quiet rural road with shady trees and turf on which residents used to ride their horses. Title devised by Library staff.
