This 1972 photograph shows a plaque on Crawford Bridge which says "Crawford Bridge 1926" and lists the names of the contractors, engineers and the municipal commissioners involved in its construction. Crawford Bridge is located at Crawford Street, and is named after Sir John Crawfurd, second Resident and Commandant of Singapore from 1823 to 1826. Crawford Street is near Kallang Road.
