This is a postcard from E. A. Brown's collection. It shows the residential buildings known as Meyer Apartments (built in 1928) on the extreme left and the whole block of Crescent Flats (built in 1909) on the right. They overlooked the old Sea View Hotel site. A handwritten note on the postcard reads “Meyer Flats, Crescent Flats. A caption on the postcard reads “Sea View Hotel, Singapore”, with the words “Sea View Hotel” scratched out in ink. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
