This is a 1982 photograph depicting the five footway and exterior of shophouse no. 40 at Craig Road. A signboard with the words "泉永周" ("quan yong zhou", to be read from right to left) and "Chew Eng Chuan" hangs above the entrance. Pintu pagar half-length doors with glass panels and decorative wall tiles are also features of this shophouse's facade. Craig Road was named after Captain J. Craig of the Merchant Service Guild and a member of the Freemason's Zetland Lodge. Title devised by Library staff.
