This 1984 photograph shows Fisher Street, as viewed from the upper floor of a house on the east side. It shows a view of the street with rows of shophouses and a grassy open space. Several high-rise buildings can be seen in the background. Fisher Street is named after Admiral Sir John Fisher (1841-1920), a World War I hero. Title devised by Library staff.
