This is a 1992 photograph of Keong Saik Road with the Hoe Kee Club at house no. 85, founded in 1916. Located in the Chinatown area, Keong Saik Road was named after Tan Keong Saik, who co-founded the Straits Steamship Company with Tan Jiak Kim and Lee Cheng Yan, and owned many houses in Keong Saik Road. Title devised by Library staff.
