This 1994 photograph shows a row of shophouses, located at no. 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3 and 1 Eng Hoon Street. Some of the shophouses feature French windows on the upper floor. Eng Hoon Street was named after Koh Eng Hoon, a successful merchant trading in the 1800s. Title devised by Library staff.
