This 2010 photograph shows a roof detail of a soaring dragon on the Hall of Celestial Kings (天王殿), in Shuang Lin Monastery. The Hall of Celestial Kings is dedicated to the four Celestial Kings. In the Buddhist faith, the four Celestial Kings are guardian gods, each of whom watches over one cardinal direction of the world. Title devised by Library staff.
