This 1967 photograph shows the classic three-storey, three-bay terrace house from the late style. The shophouse features full-length French windows on the second storey, half-length casement windows on the third, and ornate decorations on its façade. Orchard Road, which the shophouse is situated at, was so named due to the orchards and plantations that existed there until the turn of the 20th century. Title devised by Library staff.
