This 1982 photograph shows Lorong 25 Geylang, towards Geylang Road. It shows a view of buildings and parked vehicles along one side of the road. Geylang is believed to be a corruption of the term "kilang", Malay for factory, from the coconut and lemongrass processing factories of the area. Title devised by Library staff.
