This 1994 photograph shows Desker Road, at Lembu Road junction. Rows of multi-storey shophouses line both sides of the road. Located in the Little India area, Desker Road was named after Andre Filipe Desker, a charitable donor to major Catholic schools and churches, who once lived in the area. Title devised by Library staff.
