This 1966 photograph shows a window on the first storey of a shophouse at Veerasamy Road. The window is fixed with iron bars for security reasons. Placed above the window is a bat-shaped air vent, while below it is seen a decorative panel comprising tiles sporting Chinese-style motifs of flowers and birds. Title devised by Library staff.
