View of Tanjong Rhoo, Singapore

A black-and-white postcard of a sea view of Tanjong Rhu with a few kelong or fish traps or fish stakes in the background. A kelong is made up of poles that are planted in shallow water to designate a fishing area. In the early 1930s, such traps were removed from Tanjong Rhu to make way for the Kallang Airport that opened in 1937. This card has a divided back. Date of creation estimated.
