This 1984 photograph shows Fisher Street, with rows of shophouses and a grassy open space. Cars and trucks are parked along the roadsides, and several high-rise buildings can be seen in the background. Fisher Street is named after Admiral Sir John Fisher (1841-1920), a World War I hero.
