This 1983 photograph shows Tengeh Reservoir, with its shoreline to the right. A line of poles with electrical cables run parallel to the road along the shoreline. The reservoir, located within Jalan Bahar, is one of the four reservoirs in the Western Water Catchment of Singapore. The reservoir was once a river called Sungei Tengeh.
