This 1982 photograph shows Syed Alwi Road (no.128 and no.129 south-west side between Lembu Road and Serangoon). It shows the exterior view of two-storey shophouses at Syed Alwi Road. Syed Alwi Road was earlier known as Syed Allie Road, named after Arab merchant Syed Allie Bin Mohamed Al Junied. Title devised by Library staff.
