Singing with the confident and soothing tones of a long-time folk singer, Charlie Lim is a young songwriter whose melodic magic is best worked live. His debut 4-track EP released in 2011 attained steady regional support, receiving airplay on leading radio stations in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Based in Melbourne, Australia, this son of Singapore has already taken to numerous world-class stages and performed alongside the likes of Kimbra and Sigur Ros. His sold-out show in Singapore in 2012 only confirmed the strength of his fanbase back home and prompted an Asia-wide tour, that same year he was voted JUICE magazine’s Best Live Act. Having featured in Music Matters Live, Mosaic Music Festival and George Town Festival to name a few, this is a talent that promises much more in time to come. His most recent releases are two singles, “Bitter” and “Conspiracy”, the product of collaboration and refining over the last few years since his EP was released. Fresh off an Australian tour, he is set to feature in 2014’s Mosaic Music Festival, supported by his band of skilled musicians called The Mothership.
