About the Artist

Teng Mah Seng (丁马成): Addicted to Nanyin. Although Teng Mah Seng only had a few years of formal education, that had not deterred him from appreciating nanyin, a form of ancient Chinese music. He eventually wrote hundreds of songs and helped stop the art form from becoming extinct in Singapore. Read more about him on our Articles page.
