Description
Hongkong racehorse owner and businessman, Mr. Jerry Sung Yee-Ven, seated in front of a painting on horses. He was owner of the Auric Stable (based in Penang) that dominated the local racing scene for twelve seasons (1974, 1977, 1980, 1982, 1984-1991). He won the Piaget Singapore Gold Cup Hall of Fame in 1991 for winning Singapore Gold Cup three times. His father, Mr. David Sung Ling-Fan, started the highly successful Malayan Flour Mills Berhad in 1965 and Taiping Textiles Sendirian Berhad in 1968. Jerry Sung became a Committee Member of the Singapore Turf Club in 2006-2007. TItle devised by Library staff.
