Title
Kota Raja Malay School, the former Victoria School
Description
This is the façade of the double-storey classroom block of Sekolah Melayu Kota Raja or Kota Raja Malay School (later demolished) at the junction of Victoria Street and Jalan Sultan. It was formerly occupied by Victoria School (1900-1933). The government leased the school building to MENDAKI or Council for the Education of Muslim Children as its headquarters in 1982 but MENDAKI chose to occupy Siglap Indah Primary School at Kee Sun Avenue, off East Coast Road in 1984.
