"Would you have me false to my nature? Rather say I play the man I am" : a study of the signification processes in Coriolanus / by Kelvin Mark Rodrigues

This is a study of the signification processes in Shakespeare's play "Coriolanus". The play is based on the life of the legendary military and political leader of ancient Rome, Caius Martius Coriolanus. This is one of Shakespeare's tragedies that embodies a debate concerning the relative merits of patrician autocracy versus plebian democracy.
