Victoria Theatre and Memorial Hall : general view [1]


This 1974 photograph shows Victoria Theatre and Memorial Hall, which are Palladian-styled colonial buildings located at Empress Place. Built more than 40 years apart, the two buildings are joined by a Clock Tower. The buildings were renamed Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall in 1979 and were gazetted as national monuments on 14 February 1992. Title devised by Library staff.
