Stamford Raffles statue at Singapore River, 2003 : close-up


This is a close-up of a statue of Sir Stamford Raffles. It is a polymarble copy of the original statue, set on a high white concrete pedestal with plaques on each side of the pedestal. It is situated near Singapore River, where it is believed to be the site of Raffles' first landing. Title devised by Library staff.
