Bendemeer Road substation : general view [2]


This 1992 photograph depicts the Bendemeer Road electric substation at Bendemeer Road. The substation is not found in the present day street directory. Bendemeer Road is named after the Bendemeer House bought by Seah Liang Seah from the estate of Hoo Ah Kay, known as Whampoa, after the latter's death in 1880. Title devised by Library staff.
