China Building at Chulia Street, circa 1964 : exterior

This 1964 photograph shows the façade of the old OCBC headquarters, also known as the China Building at Chulia Street. Built in traditional Chinese architectural style, the building features a distinctive roof. Signages bearing the names of the bank and its building in English and Chinese adorn the pillars and the area above its entrance. Several smaller buildings can be partially seen in the vicinity of China Building. Title devised by Library staff.
