Chinese Swimming Club, sea view : general view [1]

This 1966 or 1967 photograph [photographer's notes] shows a section of the Chinese Swimming Club, located at Amber Road, and the surrounding sea area. Along the shoreline near the structure, several people can be seen, bending over, probably looking for shellfish or crabs. The Chinese Swimming Club was founded in 1905 as the Chinese answer to the Europeans-only Singapore Swimming Club. Title devised by Library staff.

Date of creation estimated.
