Chinese children and street hawkers [1]

This is a pre-1914 photograph from E. A. Brown's collection. It shows several young Chinese schoolboys sitting on low stools eating food sold by a street hawker. They are dressed in school uniform, of white tunic and trousers with straw boater hat. Customers patronising another street hawker are also seen in the background. No date of creation provided.
