This is a photograph of an old-styled, neighbourhood park and children’s playground at Redhill. Simple concrete benches are seen under a shelter in the middle of the park. In the background are swings and see-saws, which were popular features in many playgrounds of the past. These were built on sandpit to cushion the landing should children fall while playing. Photograph donated by Ho Seng Huat and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008. HRS3_414. Title devised by Library staff.
