Mandarin oranges : general view


This photograph shows small mandarin oranges with stems attached, laid out for display in trays. Other types of fruits such as apples are also seen in the photograph. The fruits are piled up in layers, on top of one another. Mandarin oranges are associated with good luck or good fortune, with the giving of mandarin oranges as part of the customs observed during Chinese New Year. Title devised by Library staff.
